A home away from home for your pet
You can help make your pup’s stay at Grumpy Willy even more fun and safe by letting us know them ahead of time. Besides asking to completes registration form, we also offer a meet & greet before they come for daycare, and before you bring them in for a longer stay, contact us to book an overnight trial boarding.
Like the meet & greet for the daycare, a trial boarding is important to help ensure that your pup will not nervous and unsettled when they stay with us. The trial boarding is free of charge. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know your pup better and help us plan a comfortable and happy stay for them.
PET BOARDING
Overnight stays at Grumpy Willy are always filled with joy and lots of love. We are always ready to play with your pup or just chill out on the couch and watch a movie if that’s what they prefer.
When your pup is here, they are our family. They sleep in the bedroom (and sometimes even on our bed) with us. Each pup also has its own bed, bowl, and an extensive variety of toys to choose from and play with.
We work from home which allows us plenty of time to play and walk with your pups during these day. Feeding and backyard time are always supervised. Walks in the neighbourhood and parks are fun for all!
Our house is bright and climate-controlled. Your pup will never be too warm or too cold in here. They have free, supervised access to our fenced backyard any time of the day.
DOG DAYCARE
We love having pups with us during the day. We both have corporate jobs and work from home. That allows us to shower your pup with care and attention.
We take several breaks during the day to make sure your pup is doing their business, eating properly, drinking enough water and, most importantly, having fun!
Some pups prefer to be next to us while we work. They keep us company and take deserved naps during the day. Pups who are more active prefer to go on walks and play in the backyard. We schedule our day in a way that we can meet the needs of each pup. Rest assured that your pup will come back home well-looked after and happy.

Food and treats
Any sudden changes in your pup’s diet may cause an upset stomach and diarrhea. To prevent that, we ask that bring your pup’s regular food and treats.
In addition, offer healthy treats, like dehydrated sweet potatoes (in small quantities to prevent loose stools) and meat, the pups whose parents give us permission to give them these. We never feed your pet any food or treat that hasn’t been previously authorized by you.
Beds and toys
Although we have beds and toys for everyone, we ask to bring your pup’s bed and favourite toy(s) make to feel more comfortable while they stay with us. Remember, this home away from home!
Special diets and medication
Please let us know of any special diet and medication requirements for your pup during their stay with us. That includes food, treats and supplements.
Important information
Before their first stay, we ask that you complete a registration form so we can learn about your pet’s needs, habits and personality.
Please also let us know you pup as any special requirements or behaviour that we should be aware of.
